We are looking for an Application Security Engineer to join our team and be responsible for the security of our workers ecosystem, and browser isolation product. You will work with other engineers, product managers on the security of these two product areas. Our application security engineers are responsible for understanding, developing, and analyzing critical security controls and aspects of our products. We help engineering teams build a better internet by providing context of the bigger security picture to our individual product teams, offering expertise of security best practices, and clarity with security guidance and first hand knowledge. You will play an active part in shaping the security of these products and help the teams achieve their goals in a secure manner. Our application security team works to understand our security controls, their strengths, their weaknesses, and to develop tests or exploits for them to ensure they operate properly under all conditions. The team helps prioritize what problems should be addressed first, and develop plans to address those issues alongside our engineering teams. The application security team is full of engineers who enjoy getting their hands dirty and taking ownership of problems while balancing helping others understand and solve their own security challenges. The ideal candidate is someone who is a strong enough software engineer to learn about the inner workings of these systems, can identify the highest priority issues, and has the ability to build relationships with stakeholders within those teams to be able to address those weaknesses.
